First Overseas Holiday post liver transplant
I am about to go on my first overseas holiday since having a
liver
transplant
12 months ago, I will be staying with family who have 2 dogs. Grateful for advice from anyone who has been in a similar position of being immunosuppressed and being around dogs. Also thoughts on swimming pool use.

Fairly new to all this...
In need of Kidneys and
Liver
transplant
, I reside in El Paso, TX. and need to travel to Dallas, TX. for treatment at Dallas Methodist Hospital. It's been rough these past two years, I thought I could do this alone. But I am wrong, lost all my friends, family is trying but it's not easy and cheap.

Ischemic Cholangiopathy following liver transplant.
Hi All, I wonder if anyone on this site has been diagnosed or had a family member/friend receive a diagnosis or ischemic changiopathy following
liver
transplant
surgery? I received an urgent transplant in December 2022 and recovered well up until April/May when the problems started.

Update
He is a professor and he is on the
liver
transplant
team so I have to believe what he is telling me despite it being hard to believe. He said I do not have any fibrosis or portal hypertension. I was taking milk thistle every day along with Vitamin E, C, D and Nac.

Post Transplant Fatigue
Hello, I had my
liver
transplant
just over 6 years ago now and apart from an issue right at the beginning, I have been well. I’ve not even had covid! Recently though I’ve begun to feel very tired again, almost as if I’d never had the transplant at all.

Struggle after transplant
Hi all,My partner had a
liver
transplant
on 25/02/2024. The surgery was a bit more complex from an anurysm but went well. Unfortunately he was taken back into surgery less than 24 hours later due to a leaking artery which was thankfully treated. He was out of ITU two days later.

Possible Kidney Failure
Hello: My husband had a
liver
transplant
many years ago and has done very well, for which we are very grateful. Since October of 2023, his creatinine started rising and his egfr started falling. He had blood work done several times since then.

previous question
About 25% of those who have a
liver
transplant
have the PBC reoccur. It isn't the old
liver
that had the PBC- it's something within our bodies that attack those bile duct cells. My PBC returned (very mildly) about 3 - 4 years ago. I have been blessed with 18+ years of life!

He also suggested that I get in contact with Mayo (Missouri) Clinic to get to know the
liver
transplant
team...I'm not sure if I do this? or does a doctor refer me? I live in Springfield il. I'm not even sure about a timeline on everything. I am to repeat the scan in 3 months. Thanks
