Hi

Like everybody it seems I have had lipoedema for years and just struggled

I also went to my Gp who had a junior Gp with him at the time so researched my question and so wasn't dismissed

I have been to the local lymphedema clinic and had stockings measured but I just can't get them on!! I was given a slide application but cannot get down to apply. I live on my own😊

Any ideas ladies. I'm fast losing my mobility as I have arthritis in my knees too

Ask for different type of compression wraps I have osteoarthritis in both knees and they have given me one's that are made up of straps that do up with Velcro they are called compreboot /flex/knee/thigh here's a link to it sigvaris.com/uk/en-uk/produ...

There are a lot of different stocking applicators available on prescription. Ask your clinic to go through the options

Hi Cotjan,

I have lipoedema and have compression hosiery, capri pant style. They are difficult to get on but I use talc and this seems to help. Don't use creams as they only make the problem worse! Good luck
