Dads got AML. He declined treatment back in August last year. Still going strong . No pain and regular blood tests . He has a rash that’s driving him mad. It’s very red patches or red spots, bumpy . Some days it flares up more than others.Dermatologist appointment is at the end of June . Anyone else experienced this and what has helped the itching. Dads got Isogel And hydrocortisone. This has been 2 months or so now . Any ideas?

Hi sorry to read that your dads rash is persisting and causing so much discomfort. It must be distressing that he is not seeing a dermatologist for a month.

Our nurse is on the help line on thursday and friday evening, 7.30pm onwards if you'd like a chat? She has years of experience in haematology and may be able to provide insights that may be useful. She is on (freephone) 0330 004 0595.
