Hi Suzy, welcome to the forum. Are you able to share where you live? We may well be able to sign post you to a service.

HiSuzy,

Have you also looked at CLLSA meetings. There are a number around the country each year. Perhaps one is close to you.

The CLLSA also have a community on healthunlocked. You could check that out also.

If you post your approx area I’ll see if I can find out any other local options.

BTW, you said he’s 57 and been diagnosed for a year. Coincidence, I was diagnosed at 56 also. Read my profile for more detail.

best, rob

Hi suzyredsox,

Does the screen name indicate you live in Boston area?

The CLL Society has a list of support groups here:

cllsociety.org/newly-formin...

Here is the link to Central Mass group:

cllsociety.org/event/centra...

And a online virtual support group:

virtualsupportgroup.questio...

Let us know how else we can help.

Also, since you mentioned CLL and may be in the USA, you may want to also follow this international CLL group in addition to the Leukaemia Care group which is oriented towards all NHLs in the UK.

Hi, you have already had some useful replies above. If you are in the UK the Leukaemia Care Charity have a list of support groups in the UK. Another idea that I find very supportive is to join the Leukaemia Care Charity virtual support group and then it would not matter where you live in the world. Both are sign posted on the Leukaemia Care Charity front web page. Take care both of you.
