What time to take LDN when working midnight shift?

I have a job in which I switch from day shift to midnights every two months. When I am on midnights is the general recommendation to continue taking LDN around 9:00 PM or would I take it before going to bed which is around 7:00 AM?

I have heard of people who continue to take LDN at the same time during their night shift phase. Others choose to take it before going to sleep, changing that time with the shift changes. You will probably have to try both ways and see which one benefits you the best.

Most of the time I go to bed anywhere from 3 am to 5 am. What's the optimal time for me to take the LDN? Thanks!

Traditional thinking is to take it sometime between 8pm - midnight. The reasoning is the endorphin spike that naturally happens somewhere around 3 am for all of us. However, there has been a shift due to sleep issues. Personally, I would take it 3-4 hours before going to sleep, although there are a growing number of patients who take it when they wake up. The only drawback to that is a possible tiredness about 6 hours later.

The good news is you can try different times until you find what works for you. It's best if you stick to each time for at least a week to see if it works. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks. I'll try it consistently (I haven't done that yet) and see what happens. It has helped tremendously so far in making me feel more grounded -- and people who know me have told me so. I haven't felt grounded in decades.
