Today is International Cat Day! We’re big cat people at HealthUnlocked, and we know many of you are too.

You’ve shared some great pictures of your four-legged friends over the years and now we want to celebrate our feline companions. Thank you fur being companions when times are tough, fur making us laugh until we cry and fur bringing in those lovely little "presents" to wake up to in the morning (it means they care, right...?).

To celebrate International Cat Day, we have created a collage of some pictures shared on HealthUnlocked over the years, purrfectly illustrating why cats are so pawsome. Which one is your favourite? Let us know in the comments below.

They are wonderful it's hard to pick one over the others. I have 2 cats one is black and white long hair he's 8 years old we call him Oreo_cookie. I had a long haired orange..he was 14 when we lost him. His name was nibby we got a kitten from humane society. She is a little over a year. She is gray and white. But on her papers they call blue her name is. Jo jo over in Russia they only have gray cat's and they are called blue They can keep you company and they can be extremely funny. I have always had cats they put a smile on my face and a lot of laughter. I can't pick one they are all beautiful to me. Love susie jo1948
