Laparoscopy healing
Hi everyone, A question for the
laparoscopy
ladies; How long did it take you to heal? It's been 3 months since my surgery, and I fear my pain is worse than before. I've been prescribed diazepam for pain which I'm taking twice daily alongside, paracetamol and menfamic acid.

Post Laparoscopy
I had my operation 5 days ago. There isn't really any pain (& it's nothing compared to period pain!) but I still feel really tired & dizzy if I do too much. How long until you felt the dizziness go away in particular? I understand the tiredness part as my body is healing! Thank you x

laparoscopy undiagnosed
They referred me for a
laparoscopy
which showed everything was normal ? Can someone explain why they would say my ovary and uterus was stuck in my ultrasound but not in surgery?

Hi All, So after 5 rounds of IVF, yesterday I managed to get a cancellation for a
laparoscopy
and dye procedure. Findings - I have adhesions on my uterus, ovaries and liver?!

Repeat hysteroscopy experience
To be honest, I wasn’t sure that I had a hysteroscopy as part of
laparoscopy
until I checked my hospital records so I’d told the clinic that I’d just had a
laparoscopy
.

Hi, I had
laparoscopy
surgery earlier this week. I am terrified to be put asleep and all invasiveness of surgery. It was in all honesty fine, I just kept a clear mind.

First laparoscopy!!!!
Hiii, I’ve got my first
laparoscopy
on the 9th January and I’m really nervous!!! It’s to diagnose whether I have endometriosis or not. I have a few questions and hoping people can help me 😊 1. what should I bring to the hospital with me? 2. what should I have at home after?

Pre laparoscopy
Hi I am due to have my first lap next Friday and I am wondering if anyone had an ultrasound that didn't show endo but it was found during their
laparoscopy
? I am so worried that they are not going to find anything as nothing was seen during my ultrasound.

Is an mri more accurate for Adenomyosis than a laparoscopy?
I've had a
laparoscopy
in August, that showed probable Adenomyosis. My consultant wanted me to have an mri for more information, as I was diagnosed by ultrasound with a large fibroid. Will the mri show more than the
laparoscopy
? I've had it this week. Thank you xx

symptoms persisting after laparoscopy.
I had a
laparoscopy
in November 2023, some endometriosis was burned away. Following recovery from the post-op pain etc, I felt that my symptoms had mainly resolved and was so glad.
