Hey there,

I completely understand. I'm 30 now and have lived with depression since I was 16- I coped for a really long time but always felt like I was different to other people, that they could see it, that I'd never be accepted :/

3 years ago I started jogging, just a mile at first but that relief and the endorphins release soon got me up to 2 miles in no time, light crunches, small weights just to feel like I was doing something positive for my body.

Last year things started to get worst, I was drinking (BIG mistake) and put onto antidepressants. I'm now on 60mil a day which is the highest amount I'm allowed but I feel like my head is clearer, I'm more motivated... Genuinely the doctors are there to help and they won't mock you.it may be worth chatting to them about this, a problem shared is a problem halved!
