Ups and downs

I posted 2 weeks ago about our 13 year old daughter, her successful bone marrow biopsy, her starting of steroids and her quite incredible jump from 19 to 208!! Her steroids were then rightly reduced slightly and sadly her count crashed straight back down to 29. The steroids have been increased slightly and she has also started a 2 week course of Azathioprine. Had anyone else taken this and if so, with what results?

What was in bone marrow test ? N yes steroid in starting increase the platelets. But suddenly and eventually it come back to normal. Azathioprine is Immunusuppressive drug. it balance the effect of steroid .Unfortunately it does work on me . But also the age limit matters.
