Is getting the 'moon face' over night normal?

Ive been diagnosed with itp and currently on steroids. I was put on 60mg for 3 weeks and being reduced week by week. Im currently on 20mg but this morning ive woke up and my face is massive. I was told I would get a round face but didnt expect it to happen over night. Anyone else experienced this?

Mine did not happen over night but it did happen I was on 100 mgs a day

I got a moonface overnight - but it went nearly as quickly.

It is bit strange as it can not happen over night. My wife is also on prednisolone from last two months and got the moon face but it didn't happen over the night. You can check with your doc.

Yeah I went to the drs this morning and I have an infection in my glads but the moon face is making it look worse. Thanks

Just a heads up, not only did I get swollen glands but I was sick a whole day, have a very dry mouth and signs of a cold coming. Im guessin all signs of the side effects of coming off the steroids.
