My total visits to the hospital only includes actual hospital visits, not visits to the clinic or doctor's offices.

I answered thinking of the number of times I'd been to clinic as clinics in the UK are at the hospital. If they meant how many times for bleeding reasons then none.

Thank you CamdenGirl, Just to clarify the question was really to just get an indication of the number of times in a 12 month period that people are having to visit hospital or clinic as this gives a good idea about the amount of time and disruption that ITP causes to our lives. This question will be the start of a series of questions we put in our polls in the weeks ahead about our experiences of treatment and general service we receive at our hospitals/clinics/dentists.
