This is a vlog about an IVF journey of a British couple. I found it by chance and thought that it would be nice to see our struggles from the outside.
We all can relate to their situation.
Though they are at the very beginning of their route, it will be interesting to watch their next steps.

not the representatives, but clients. I am not think they are interested in advertising the clinic. They just talk about their experience. It is really interesting for people who are affected by quarantine restrictions while undergoing ART treatment. Plus, they have filmed a few more videos.
This pains much to see how many of us are there on infertility road..But thank you for sharing. We've got experiences from being treated at this clinic. Used donor eggs with ivf, 'cause own eggs were useless. Besides the procedure of egg donation itself is absolutely legal there which is a huge pro. Now to everyone - If you ever want to talk about the IVF process, feel free to message me. I'm happy to talk about it or just be a sounding board. I really am hoping for you that this will be a success, and that no matter what, you find peace. We are a unique group for sure! And yes, coming on here to vent has saved my head so many times. A nice video, thank you. They both look satisfied. Anyway, covid influenced much people's treatments venue. I happened to watch the video where a clinic in Kiev had to take care of 83 surrogacy newborns at a time, because their parents failed to come to the country due to closed boarders. I hope the situation is better now.
Yes! You are talking about the clinic I signed a contract with. Times are difficult but they somehow manage to keep it under control

May I ask, what program have you signed for? Is it connected with mitochondrial donation somehow? (I read people are using this method more and more).

Clinics do wonders currently. I know, for example, some send invitations to their clients. So that those could come for treatments at needed times. BTC is not the exception. I believe it's a great way to help IPs - whatever happens they know they aren't alone with their problems.
I'm with you. Yet another thing which I loved about my clinic was their 24/7 support line. We could call any time of the day and get answers. They GUIDE their patients through every step up to a ''big day''. This IS important! If one wants to overpay and pass the program anywhere else - do it. But this doesn't necessarily mean they'll be more successful or treated better. There are patients who are naive about the IVF process, and who get angry with their doctor when he cannot offer a satisfactory answer for the failure. They start imagining the worst. Sth like their doctor did not perform the procedure well. Or that the clinic is not competent, which is why the cycle failed. But the whole process is a complicated unit. One has to understand not everything depends on the dr/equipment etc. And one has to stay realistic that sometimes it takes more than 1 shot. That is why the clinic invented ''win'win'' plans for their patients. The system of refunds if no luck.. But as far as I know, there is hardly a couple which left the country without a little one.
I'm with you.Their 'guaranteed' plan is incredible. A very rare thing to see, surely. There are a lot of repro centers in Ukraine. Some of them began to offer something similar. But their costs are higher. And they don't offer such a set of services like Biotexcom. Their packages are all inclusive. You pay for the number of shots and are sure not to bother about of accommodations, medications, donor eggs whatever. Sounds great, surely.
All this is only about women who can choose. Use their own egg or donor egg. But the majority of those who use donor eggs don’t have another choice. They have indications for unconditional donation. such as lack of ovarian, 'lazy ovaries' syndrome, surgery, chemotherapy, genetic hereditary diseases, menopause. We didn't do donor egg plan. But it seems quite easy at BioTexCom.
We're among those who had to apply for surrogacy to get the baby into the family. With this purpose were also considering Mexico once. Compare to those in other surrogacy friendly countries, Mexico have softer laws. After leaving the hospital, the surrogate mother writes refusal for the child. Then the law prohibits their further cooperation. The cost was $80k. Then we started to look for other options. Ukraine was on the top list. Mainly, for the affordable prices. Moreover, the set of services was absolutely attractive. So we didn't want to waste more time on looking for more. Afterall, it took us 1 shot only to conceive DS.
A useful video anyways . Thanks a lot for sharing. I'm here to say my heart goes for everybody struggling. I'm not new to struggles myself, so can feel the pain. Recently a friend of mine with MRKH dx has applied for surrogacy in Kyiv, BTC. They signed up for so called "guaranteed" package. Meaning the repro center does not guarantee you a baby. But its experts will try again and again unless are successful. In case you don't want to proceed after 5 failed shots in a row, or your body got too weak to try for more, they will refund money paid. Though this might be useful to somebody in research.
All the best of luck to your friend. I’m stuck with mentioned ‘‘surrogacy category’’ and nothing more. But if you compare the cost of it in various countries then you should know. It is actually cheaper in Ukraine. consider the Biotex com clinic. You’ll find out it’s economical. When all you have to do is spare money for your tickets. The least expense is from 40-75k in Ukraine. In USA it exceeds 100k.

Here's a thing to share. I was 43 when our 2nd OE IVF failed. My husband and I agreed that we would move on after that. We also came to the conclusion no matter what, DE would be worth it. We finally flew to Ukraine. So from my own experience it takes time and patience to select a successful fertility center. When you screen potential IVF sites, ask questions! Research, compare the various sites based on different qualities such as: Are the physicians board certified? What specialties are they certified in? Do the clinics use accredited labs? What types of amenities and services are offered to patients? Have they worked with many women of similar age with your particular health condition and procedure?
In your shoes, I'd also ask about possibility of mitochondrial donation. Have you ever considered this option? It's quite a new thing in the field but more and more people get successful through using it.

Ukraine is a perfect destiantion for surrogacy. There are lots of reasons for this. 1. the baby’s yours from the moment of conception. 2. you don’t have to wait long to start the procedure. 3. the surrogate has no right to keep the baby after delivery. 4. you may opt for both own and donor eggs within a package. 5. There are many competitors in this field, so clinics offer their own ‘‘attractive’’ set of services/guarantees etc. The embassy process differs for every country, so the waiting time is different for every particular case.Some of the Embassies will require additional DNA test performed on their premises – This additional DNA test is not covered by the clinic though. I should say that age is one of the factors that create a diversion between IVF laws and fertility clinics’ approaches. In most fertility clinics, there exists either a legal or an artificial age limit. It precludes women from receiving fertility treatments beyond a certain age. While in some countries/clinics this may be as low as 42, in some it can go to no age limits at all (like in Biotexcom). I suppose most of the age-related arguments are due to ethical considerations and can't be justified via medical reasoning. I believe, as long as there is sound medical evidence that a woman is healthy and fit for a pregnancy, she should be allowed to be pregnant and have her own child. Surrogacy involve many services, professionals and fees, including program and agency fees, legal costs and medical expenses. That is why more and more IP are turning to Ukraine, for instance, to make these expenses lower. In our clinic we’ve been with 1 shot will cost you 39.900 EUR, double - 49900. They’ve also invented “unlimited’ number of att for 65k which prevents you from losing money. They refund money paid in case of failure. Though I don't want this sound like add or sth just to give cost numbers. Prices differ from clinic/country to clinic.
Here are lots of things to consider. In surrogacy intended parents have an opportunity to pick from profiles of prospective surrogates whose plans and goals match their own. The intended parents can select the surrogate they wish to work with. Whatever option you choose I'm sure you'll love your kid with all your heart.
Surrogacy ban makes no good to infertile.
Friends of mine and soon afterwards we were going surrogacy path in Ukraine, BTC clinic. I got am email from my fertility clinic’s manager really fast. It told that they looked through my tests and gave their green light for starting hormonal treatment. Everything was within norm with my scans. Hormonal levels show that the day of testing was the first day of my menstrual period. My doctor told to make the first injection of Merional on the 10th day of the period. In 5 days I had to be already in Kiev. My doctor would do ultrasound to see if everything’s fine. They told that since that day and up to the day of eggs retrieval I had to stay in Kiev. By then, I had a total of 11 days of hormonal stimulation but they could add more days if follicles didn’t grow the way they were expected to. That’s why I had to be there. They would monitor the situation on their own and would correct my stimulation scenario if needed. We both were satisfied we'd come to this very clinic. Docs were always pleasant to talk to. I felt at once like we were in good hands with them.
