Hi dear. I think I've got a couple of ideas on the point. Here's what my doc at fertility clinic advised us. Take a good quality multi-vitamin and mineral supplement which contains vitamins A, B, E and C complex, zinc, magnesium, selenium, iron and Co-enzyme Q10. Those play a vital role in the fertilisation and implantation process. Essential fatty acids are vitally important. Wheat Grass to keep your FSH in check and Royal Jelly to nourish your egg quality.

Also get enough folic acid in your everyday diet as research shows this prevents neural tube defects. As for your dh, I'm afraid no specific vitamins/supplements..Mainly because we didn't have any male issue. But getting your dh on the Sperm Diet won't do harm. Also try charting your menstrual cycles and associated symptoms for a few months. On a calendar or an electronic device, record when your period starts and stops and how your cervical mucus looks. Make note of days when you and your partner have intercourse. Make a list of any medications, herbs you take. Include the doses and how often you take them. This all will help your doc to investigate the issues. Hope this helps. All the very best of luck!

Hi there. So you've found yourself here with this sort of question. There are too many reasons preventing us from successful conceiving. The best thing here is applying for dr's help and follow his/her advice/recommendations. My fertility history includes natural cycle with clomid, IUI cycles, one ivf round with own egg. Currently we're undergoing ivf shot with donor egg. Absolutely new thing for us. I'd say more emotionally.. It took us time to accept using another woman's eggs for the procedure. I really wanted to have genetically my and my dh's baby. But I feel I've already got there, so thankfully had our 1st app with a fertility clinic overseas. The beginning was smooth and comfortable. We trusted the place we were with. I believe the above poster mentioned lots of things which my doc at clinic was talking about when we were making initial steps with fertility treatment..And YES, folic acid is extremelly important!! Wishing you the best.

Hi I am currently using Pregnacare. I can’t say for sure if it’s helped as I also changed stim meds. In addition I am eating a lot more protein in form of eggs, chicken, avocado and nuts and seeds. Iv also reduced complex carbs like bread, potato and pasta for grains like quinoa and cous cous. Drinking plenty of water and eating pineapple and pomegranate also helps. Iv also Avoided stressful situations where possible. I had egg collection on Friday and had much better success this time round and have my transfer Weds. I can’t say what has had the greater influence on this round’s more positive outcome, but good luck on your journey x

Hi lovely. I guess these are the most common tips for ladies in the case. I strongly believe a healthy lifestyle can improve odds of success. It is even imperative to maintain healthy habits. Recreational drugs, alcohol, medications, a poor diet, herbs and certain supplements - all prevent a successful pregnancy. Additional factors that can influence ivf success are extra body weight and insufficient sleep. It’s recommended to have 7-9 hours rest per night. Less stress and more emotional rest. Wishing you all the very best of luck Xx

Ah just a thing to add.. When we were passing our de ivf shot, our doc insisted on low glycemic diet. She explained avoiding food that raises the production of insulin is vital. Because too much insulin affect your ovaries negatively and limits fertility.

I think I read something like, that every 7th woman is infertile due to sky high insulin levels! So, first, limit sugar - dried fruits, sugary fruits etc. Add essential fatty acis, prime rose is brilliant. There are also some homeopathic remedies.. I'm praying for your soon pregnancy.
