Just diagnosed with blocked tubes

Hi all, I’ve just jumped over here from the Endo page as I’ve finally had laparoscopy today and all’s good but also had the dye test and both are blocked.

We’ve been trying to conceive for over 4 years now - I’m looking for any stories to lift my spirits - stories of success, stories of tubes being unblocked - please let me hear from you!!

Hey hun sorry for your news it's truly headache

I remember how I felt when they told me I had tubal disease and best bet was to go for ivf, thankfully I didn't I researched and, came across ppl that had unblocked their tubes with herbal remedies. I came across an enzyme called serrapeptase and that along with castor oil packs seem to have helped me unblock my tubes after a lot of heartache and losses I'm now 31 weeks pregnant

I couldn't fall pregnant at all with my partially blocked tubes but I managed to 2-3 months after taking the serrapeptase.

I believe my blockage was either endo or scar tissue from my emergency section

All the best on your journey hun.

Here whenever you need a chat

Xxx

Thank you for replying and congratulations on your wonderful news. I haven’t got Endo and not had any operations, I had a normal delivery with my 15 year old. Are you able to give me a little more detail about the natural remedies you used please? Hopefully all will be clearer when I go back to see the consultant in a few weeks

Thanks hun.

All I did was take two serrapeptase a day on empty stomach one first thing on morning one last thing at night. Used castor oil packs every other day up to ovulation gave the pelvic area a good massage, That's it.

You must make sure the serrapeptase is enetric coated

Have you ever had infection hun? That can cause blockage. Also you could have had your tubes go into spasm at the time they did the dye that would cause the dye not to go through and there's a possibility your tubes are fine xx good luck lovely

I hope you are soon able to conceive. Endometriosis is a difficult disorder to deal with. However, I am sure soon things will get better. Technology has improved drastically and we are more open to choices. Just make sure to visit a doctor with a high success rate. He/she should be experienced as well. Good luck to you. Sending baby dust you.

I'm hanging around on here for half a year. I'm sure I've read some of the success stories when ladies did surgeries to unblock their tubes before treatments. As far as I know, fallopian tubes can block when internal scars form after the body undergoes a healing event due to surgery, infection, endometriosis or repeat trauma. Success rates of surgery vary by location of the blockage. Unfortunately, even when the surgery goes well, the body responds by laying down adhesions.. so it might come back after some time. That said, as soon as you recover from the surgery and doc says you can proceed with trying - do it. I hope your luck is ahead! Take good care of yourself now.

I'm sorry for the condition you are in. Blocked tubes are no good, so they might want you to do more surgeries to try to unblock. If no, then probably you'd better look onto ivf. My story is with the happy end. We were through 2 cycles with donor egg abroad some time ago. Resulting in beautiful twins. This time we've come back to the same clinic, 'cause bth decided we want more kids. I know my case absolutely differs from yours. But here the doc should be the one to advise you the best. He should evaluate your chances through tubes unblocking and trying naturally or going straight to ivf. And you should know you trust him and his recommendations. You've been struggling for a long time --4 yrs, so you have to take those further actions. I'm wishing you all the best. Do drop us a line soon. Hugs x
