Hey, I am really sorry to hear about your MC. I can understand how painful that must have been. However, don't lose hope! I am sure things will get better. You should visit a fertility specialist. I personally think he/she will be able to help you out. You need to find out what might be the reason for the MC. Since it hasn't been a year most specialists wont thing it is serious. They always tell patients to keep trying for 12 months at least. However, since you have had MC this could be concerning. Stay strong through all of this. I am sure there is nothing to worry about. Be positive and don't let negativity strike your way. Do keep us posted. If you need any help let us know.

Hi, so sorry for your losses, I know they are tough to take, however early.

Ask your gp for fertility tests, and referral, as soon as... now or in 3monghs... the sooner you ask, the sooner you join the waiting list.

Also ask gp to check your thyroid, vitamin levels (B12, folate, D), and your iron levels... while youwait. Get the actual figures and ranges, and understand if you are ‘nor al but near to the end of a range, as there is debate about some ranges. In particular, there was a change to the ideal range for TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) if ttc... its tighter than the restof thepopulation. And miscarriage can send hormone systems into a wobble, in my experience.

You could also think about nutrition... look at Sandra Greenbank nutrition on fb for tips, her approach makes sense to me.... rainbow veg, 8-9 portions a day... lots of antioxidants for healthy you & bubba... stress of ttc takes alot out of you.

Then get out for a nice walk every day, or whatever activity you enjoy... try and leave ttc in the house for a little while each day.

Best wishes, hope you are ‘t on gere too long... xx

Oh Rebeccahh,

It is sad that you are trying to get pregnant but nothing seems to be working. TTC journey is full of ups and downs and it requires the strongest will to be able to successfully walk down the road. The matters are even made worse when you miscarry. It can leave huge gaps that are difficult to fill. However, it does not mean that you give up. Notice that there are many factors that can lead to frequent miscarriages. The quality of the eggs, your age, chromosome deformities are just some of the causes of frequent miscarriage. The state of your womb is also an important factor that may make it difficult for you to conceive and carry the pregnancy to full term. Environmental hazards including your occupation could also make one miscarry. So where does this leave us? You need to talk to your doctor so that you get assessed. The doctor can help you determine the cause of your woes. It will help you avoid mistakes that lead to miscarriage. He will also recommend a few things that you must do to ensure that you don’t miscarry in the future. Notice that eating certain meals e.g fish loaded with mercury can also lead to miscarriage. So talking to your nutritionist can also help you single out the foods you should eat when pregnant and those that should be avoided. Regular check-ups can also help the doctor suggest what you ought to do to avoid miscarriage. So the ball is right in your court.

Oho so sorry to hear this Rebecca. Trying to conceive for 9 months. But could not able to hear good news. Now that is really troubling for me. Not able to conceive was only one side of the picture. The other side was a miscarriage. Now, this goes to a whole new level. You have quite a lot of courage. I admire it. But I’ll say only one thing. These days will pass. Just ignore them. Just try to do what I did in this kind of situation. I held my nerves under control. This helped me a lot. I suggest the same thing to you.

This post really made me sad. Miscarriages are indeed very difficult to face. It completely breaks women into pieces. I had gone through the same situation as you. I TTC for almost 4 years but faced disappointments. Getting blessing of kids was like impossible at that time. Then someone told me about surrogacy. It was like a light in the darkness. Without wasting any time I went to Europe for my treatment. Here I found a very prominent clinic. Their rates were very affordable. Their doctors and staff were amazing too. This was the best journey of my life. Patience is the key sweetheart. Things will be alright. My prayers are with you.

May I ask, where did you go fr treatments? You've mentioned European clinics..

I'm currently with ukrainian clinic, passing DE ivf treatment for the sibling. This is our second time at the same place. The first 2 shots brought us lovely twins. We were absolutely satisfied so came back there again. What are the costs at your clinic for ivf shots (OE & DE)?? TIA

I'm so sorry..This pains there are so many of us struggling..

Me – 37. DH – 38. TTC since Jan 2008. Faced 2 chemical pregnancies the 2 following years. Was put on Clomid 50 but ended with another chemical. Oct-Dec 2010 Fermara 5 and Purgon 75. Had 3 months break from treatments. Feb & Mar & Apr 2011 IUI #1 & 2 & 3 Purgon 150 & Clomid 100 BFN x3. IVF #1 Superfact & Puregon 300. 10 eggs retrieved, 8 mature, 6 eggs fertilized, 2 survived. Transferred 2 low grade morulas on day 5 – BFN.

Donor Egg Cycle. IVF#1 (DE)April 2015. Transferred 1 grade 4AA embryo – BFN. Dr made some changes into treatment protocol. IVF#2 (DE) - transferred 2 blasts. BFP on 6dp5dt.1st Beta 148. 2nd Beta- 315. 7wk 3d ultrasound - 1 heartbeat 138bpm, measuring 7wks 3ds. My sweet son born via C-section. Adding 2 more MCs after my son was born.

We've just been recently through another de ivf cycle with bio texcom for a sibling. ET - placed back 2 A grade embies, beta confirmed pregnancy. But its numbers aren't rising too fast, so they suspect only one of my embies made it.. Still this is BFP!!

There must have been the reason you've miscarried twice. Did you investigate? What did your doc say? There could be different factors. And you'd better know them to be able to improve the situation. I guess they'll want you to wait at least for 3 more months to refer you to the fertility expert. I'm afraid I'm of not much help here. Now most of the things depends on your doc. But doing things recommended will definitely do no harm..Healthy eating, taking vitamins and supplements, having adequate rest, doing yoga or some other activities. Joining local support groups to chat with others sailing in the exact boat with you.. If it ever happens you come to ivf option, I'm here for you. I've definitely got some pieces of advice on this point. Will gladly share with you. And now stay well, take the best care of yourself. I'm hoping for your soon luck. Hugs xx

So sorry for hearing it, dear. Totally understand your condition. Doctors say you should try for 12 month at least and only after that make some conclusions. I'm suffering from endometriosis in a neglected form, so I can't have children by myself. Maybe you should visit reproductologist and gynecologist-endocrinologist to find answers? There are a lot of different ways of dealing with such cases. If even I could find a solution, you can do that as well. Anyway, text me if you want to talk: janettemarvin88@gmail.com.

Hi Rebeccahh! Did you visit doctor and make blood tests? They say you should worry only after 12 month of unsuccessful tries, not earlier. Maybe it's better to go there with your man to explore his state of health too. Hope you'll cope with that as fast as possible and soon tell us you're fine:) Anyway, if you need to talk you can write me any time, I'll be free to answer your questions and support you. Here's my email: janettemarvin88@gmail.com.

I'm so sorry for your MCs :( They must have left a scar. You need more time to get through. Be kind to yourself. Don't blame anyone, those issues is not the thing chosen. You should take good care of yourself and try investigate more. The reasons may be very different, starting from the egg quality. Your dr must want you to pass all the required tests to find out what could be wrong. If it happens you suspect your eggs quality, then try taking ubiquinol. Along with other supplements like a hearty prenatal vitamin. Also Omega 3, cod liver oil and light exercise. Ubiquinol has been proven to improve egg quality. 'cause it provides energy to lethargic cells which causes eggs to divide normally, so that they can further implant and produce healthy pregnancies. I took 2 - 200 mg twice a day. Unfortunately we aren't experts here. Do have a good consult with your dr on the point. Wish you all the best of luck and support x
