Week 4 of buserlin an 2nd week on progy wotsit feeling very periody an have had head aches is this normal symptoms got another scan tues just wondered if this is the norm?

Hi there,

When I was taking Buserlin I had horrendous headaches, some of which were migraines. When was on the Menopur as well I suffered from extreme nausea, felt very bloated and yes suffered from period pains I would usually when ovulating in my cycle. This is because they are over stimulating your ovaries to produce more follicles than usual so the ovaries are growing and stretching which can cause the pain/uncomfort.

Some women have hardly any side effects from the IVF drugs, others do. Sounds like you are having some of the side effects.

Hi Rachaelx86. I think that “squidgy” has said it all! Let’s hope that the symptoms settle down a little as you progress through treatment. Hope all goes well with the scan next Tuesday and you can carry on with the next stage. Diane

Hello. Hope you feel better soon. I to am on prognova. And had headaches until last week that's lasted all day. Still get the odd one now. But hey should pass. Lots of luck. Xxx

I had headaches, cramps, problems with concentration and palpations which were all listed as side effects so I wouldn't worry. Not very pleasant just need to grin and bare it and think of the positive outcome. Good luck xx
