Is it safe for my kid?

Hey

My daughter is in fifth grade. She is very bad in her studies. When I ask her to study she used to sit in front of the book and cry. Initially I thought that it was her trick to get away from her studies. Last day in the open house her teacher told me the same. She asked me to take her to an eye clinic and to undergo eye check up. As per her words I dis the same. Actually she was crying because she was not able to see the notes. The doctor told wear spectacles. She is not that comfortable with these spectacles. I was planning to take her for LASIK eye surgery from a clinic in Toronto ( skouraseyeandcosmetic.com/l... ). Is it safe for my kid? Will there be any complications involved? It will be great if you can help me here

Thanks for reaching out to the group and sharing your daughters experience. What do you think about contact lens for her? This was she could still have the benefit of the RX and not look like she needs glasses.

Hope that she is doing better in school if not please ask them to check her and make sure she is getting better, we don't want her to be so upset and also be successful.
