Are you having a hypoglycemic event? Do you have your tester that you can find out what your glucose is?

Hello Thanks for replying , I did do a test and it was.low for me at 4.7, I usually stay around 6.5 7.00, so I rang the Dr and was told reading normal if your still unwell get to A&E, and the diabetic nurse will ring next week , problem is I have a blood issue called thalassemia not sure of spelling , but as it causes my red blood cells die off quicker, and the usual blood test to check glucose levels dosnt work so medications are done using my readings accordingly, it's a bit confusing tbh .

I don't use a1c, I'm here in the United states. But for me even when it gets down to about 80, 75 and lower I do get all the symptoms that you are talking about you could try having a little bit of juice, or eating a piece of fruit, or having a piece of candy with glucose. See if it helps. Good luck

sounds a bit of an odd response to happen out of the blue, had you eaten normally before this happened?
