Heartbroken update

Today is my beloved sister's funeral. She passed away 2 days ago.

After 3 months in ICU intubated and tracheo, she was given the all clear and moved to a rehab centre since March. She had the oxygen removed and was eating,walking, doing indoor biking, speaking, laughing, planning her next holidays etc. Her SATs were very good so it came as a shock when they called us this horrible morning to announce that she has died during the night from internal bleeding most probably due to steroids treatment and prior antibiotics overuse. We were shocked and angry as she had pain in the stomach for a few days prior to her death but they masked it with painkillers instead of investigating the issue.

After 6 months of emotional rollercoaster she can now rest in peace.

I will dearly miss her.
