Late stage proning for trached covid patients?

Anyone seen improvement in covid patients with late stage probing? My dad has been ventilated for 30 days and has had drastic ups and downs but has been maxed out on the vent for days now. Wondering if turning him could give his lungs some relief?

I was proned numerous times - it would appear it worked for me - it was the last ditch attempt each time.
