Hello, My mother had triple bypass surgery 4 days ago. The day after surgery she completed physical & occupational therapy, but into the next morning she experienced kidney failure and was placed on dialysis it’s now day 3 and dialysis is still in place, but now there is an issue with her liver. Today her numbers are looking better but not where they should be. Also, I failed to say that she’s on a ventilator, and at times with move her head and arm. Has anyone experienced or know of someone who has experienced this acute setback after heart bypass surgery? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your response Friz! Yes, the word perfusion has been used frequently throughout the pass few days. She’s was off the ventilator the day after surgery and went back on that same night and is currently still on it. This was an emergency surgery, but after admittance she was stable for 3 days then underwent surgery.
