I have to agree this forum offers great support to people that feel there is a lack of understanding of the trauma they have been through, sadly many people believe, you have been discharged so you must be better, not aware of the physical and physiological problems many ex-patients suffer with.

This community along with ICUsteps local support groups around the country can help ex-patients and relative realize they are not alone and together we can make things better.
