Surgery over

I had a total hysterectomy and ovaries removed yesterday and have to say that, apart from a little wooziness, I feel much better than I thought I would! My pain has been controlled and I have 4 incisions, and have been up and walking to the toilet and back! I know I'm not going to feel this good every day, but so far so good!

Glad to here your feeling better than you thought my op is next Wednesday.

Also having ovaries removed due to previous surgery for cysts and a fibroid.

Gremlin16 - I had keyhole surgery. I've got 4 small incisions and as far as I know everything was removed vaginally. After a good day yesterday today has been harder, but I'm home now and in my own bed which is a good thing!

The recovery with laparoscopy is generally better with a better recovery time.

Having a vertical incision hysterectomy Wednesday they cut up and around my belly button.

Feeling positive that I cannot feel any worse with pain than I do at the moment.

So glad we have each other on this site has really helped me.
