Is what I'm experiencing Pelvic Pain? Plus Spritz for Bits?
I have
hyaluronic
acid
cream that I've used once - it burned a lot. I read that it should be used once every 3 days - I'm hoping the burning will get progressively better the more I use it.

Update 7.7
Time for another
hyaluronic
acid
injection to lubricate the knees. I am going to try Durolane this time. It is a single injection instead of a series of three. In other news, I had to have a growth removed from my left cheek on 11/14. It grew very suddenly about starting a week prior.

Hyaluronic acid excess
I hadn't known what had caused it until the reference was made to some of us having too much of this

. Unfortunately, I don't remember who made the post.

7 years in May since I was diagnosed.
He girded his loins (having no knees to gird) and we saw our Dr to ask for
Hyaluronic
Acid
injections. (Dr had mentioned them over 2 years ago). This week we discovered it can only be prescribed by a Rheumy. Chances of us getting an appt before Canadian trip in May are slim.

Can I stop taking Ibandronic Acid?
I have been on Ibandronic Acid for 2 years after 3 years of Alendronic Acid, making it a total of 5 years this year. The last time I spoke to my doctor she said that the Osteoporosis specialist said that as I was young, I am still only 56, that I could stay on Ibandronic Acid for 10 years. My last

Alendronic Acid side effects
I've been on Prednisolone for PMR since October 2022, starting on 15mg and now down to 4.5. Reumatologist has told my GP I should be on a bisphosphonate and she's just prescribed Alendronic Acid. Reading the patient leaflet, the side-effects sound pretty grim. I'm going on a river cruise at the

Ferritin and Iron
I found some information below about Ferritin and Iron - it is from the Dr Mercola website. I have just had my ferritin levels and iron levels checked - The Doctor said they were a bit on the low side so I am taking some gentle iron. My ferritin was 50.9 - I never heard of ferritin before having RLS

Alendronic Acid and...
Hi everyone :) I saw my lovely GP last week and we talked about my problems in a really kind manner. I said that I am in pain and aching too often these days. Paracetomol doesn't help :/ I have been on a taper from 7mg - 6mg and in achy town all the time. I told him, again, that the Rheumy ( I

Second opinion Dr implies no Endo!
Hi Everyone! So I work abroad on and off and in the UK, I was ‘kinda’ diagnosed with endometriosis, based on a teeny tiny left side ovary cyst they found and the fact that my womb or something was stuck to the back wall of something (uterus?) 🙈🙈 so in the country where I am working, I finally managed

Hello everyone
I was diagnosed with PMR at the end of January after several months of aching joints with limited mobility, particularly in my shoulders. After a week of steroids the mobility in my shoulders returned to normal and my hips and knees were fine. I was able to resume doing my weekly 30 mile cycle ride.

Finally finished prednisolone.
Hi all, after just over 7.5 years I've finally managed to stop pred. It's been a very long and slow reduction with the inevitable hiccups along the way. I ended up on 0.5mg every 2 days and finished last week, with no ill effects that I'm aware of. The last PMR symptoms I had were in 2020. What I'd like

Advice on egg freezing and hysterectomy for severely heavy bleeding
Hi everyone, I'm doing a little bit of research so I can take a huge stack of notes to my next gynaecology appointment, and wondered if anyone was able to share their experiences. I'm looking at potentially freezing some of my eggs, as I have endometriomas. I'm still undecided as to whether I want children

Private Dexa Scan
I have been on 40mg pred for 3 weeks for positive GCA.I have agreed to take weekly alendronic acid as advised by my rheumatologist, and took my first dose yesterday. I asked him about having a dexa scan. He says he will arrange a dexa scan when/if I am off steroids, which he says may be in 1 - 1.5

Alendronic Acid
Hi. I've been taking Alendronic Acid for 5.5 years with no problems. Now I'm told I need a treatment break for 2 years. Why would this be? I'm on Letrozole since March 2018 and have been having bone scans every 2 years since 2020.
