Does anyone else bruises grow?

I have a bruise that statrted out small as big as my thumb now 4 days later its as big as a grapefruit it doesnt hurt but if I rub it I can make it bigger. Should I be concerned or just be continuiosly ammused?

HI there I know these things are sent to trouble and amuse us... but, I would leave it be.. and then if still continues to do this with no intervention... go and get it checked, as things may be a bit out of kilter. Mary F x

I would say, just get used to it, if you are on any blood thinners of any sort, it just comes with the territory. Wish you luck and don't rub it!!!!

I took the suggestion of the doc who first put me on warfarin and I wrote on the calendar if and where I had bopped myself hard enough to expect a good bruise. That way, when a good one showed up later, I would know this was expected and did not necessarily mean a too high INR. My memory habits improved with time, and now I find ican just close my eyes and say out loud, like " right elbow" and I will remember to expect a bruise on the right elbow.
