That's good news isn't it, hopefully it will help people

from having some of the horrible effects of a stroke and maybe after that they will do more blood tests and discover that Hughes syndrome really does exist

Thank you Mary. Amazing research. My Dad had a massive brain bleed. There was absolutely nothing they could do for him. He was trapped in his body for seven years. We think. We think maybe some of the child in him was left. My mom retired to care for him and between the two of us, we completely cared for him. Except shaving. He could shave himself with an electric shaver and so it was his job every day as we cleaned and dressed him. He was paralyzed on the right and right dominant. Lost speech. all memory some days, some days he could recognize us. He always recognized my husband, Dave. Still, my children (3 and 7 years at the time) learned so much from their grandfather despite his stroke. I only wish we knew then what we know now. Maybe we could have shared him just a little while longer. My mother died 3 years after he did. They were married 49 years. My mom was really angry she missed 50 years and didn't get her letter from the President. (He writes you a letter and congratulates anyone married 50 years - traditional).

When I think of all the damage a stroke does to so many people who still have so very much to contribute, I can only pray medicine like this is implemented quickly and routinely. Thanks again,

Mary. That was a goodie!

Warm wishes,

Canary
