APS and menopause. Do either effect each other.

One for the ladies this question I think. I am in peri menopause (with all its horrible symptoms) at present but I believe APS if affecting it or vice versa. For instance I know INR is ridiculous to keep stable but mine has gone crazy. I am now testing every other day as it is all over the place. I can be 3.3 (which I like) then 48 hours later 2.8 (which is a nighmare). I am not even eating greens now and not altering anything food or tablet wise. Do any of you have any clues for me and does anybody know if I should expect worse to come. I know we cannot have HRT so I feel like I am in for a long hard struggle.

I am sure hormones have a lot to do with the symptoms of Hughes syndrome.

I had a Heart attack the second month after my periods stopped. I wasn't on any anticoagulants at that time,

Unfortunately the only energy I had was in the 2-3 days before my period so I have no energy at all now.

I am having menopausal symptoms including hot flushes will save a fortune with the heating.

But seriously I haven't been on Warfarin long enough to tell what difference it makes to me yet

I have been on warfarin sine 2007. I am now peri-menopausal and I believe this is whats affecting my INR. Went from 2.9 to 0.9 in a 24 hr period. I was told by my doctor here that its very hard to stabilise INR levels in some Hughes Syndrome patients. I have had 17 clots since 2007 and am now suspected of having a small embilis in the blood vessels in the brain. I am really not sure about menopause and its affects. I do know that this condition is very topsy turvy. I am not energetic unless i am around 3.6 to 4.00. I do hope that things settle for you.

I went into early menopause at age 40 which lasted 2 months. I dont know why it was this way. Now 8 years later I have the hormones of a 70 year old. NO to hormone replacement with APS.
