Got first letter today regarding ESA which tells me I will receive a phone call than a questionaire and than medical... how lucky am I !!!!

Just worried that I could end up loosing my carers and shared lives.

Without shared lives(karen) I would end up being stuck in the house 24/7 again.

It was much easier when it was all called The Department of Health and Social Security - fondly known a few years back as the The Department of Stealth and Total Obscurity! MaryF x

Hi Sharon,

If you are on DLA then it is completely seperate from ESA and not means tested.

CAB are brilliant at all this and you can usually get to talk to someone on the phone.

The information that Lynn can send you is excellent (thank you Lynn) but if you are brainfogged like me you might need someone to go through it with you.

Social worker just been for review asked if I fail support part of ESA will I still get my care package she said yes even if they say you are fit to work as long as you don t work you can still have your care package!!!

Also increased my care so I will have someone come in and help me hoover, clean do washing.

Will still go to CAB for help with forms tho.

Thanks everyone for your help
