Hi Mary,

Thank for sharing the article with us all. I spoke with my boss at work (dealing with Exceptional Funding for interventions and drugs etc). She said that it would appear that although NICE will be approving several more anticoagulants, the criteria for patients will mostly be that they have to suffer with Atrial Fibrulation and be between 65 and 75. As I mentioned to Gunther on Wednesday, this would then preclude many APS sufferers from the joys of being able to take non-monitoring anticoagulants. I'll try and find out more and post here.
