Hi I have been following the member's experience of their covid vaccination symptoms I am just wondering if the people that had a bad reaction could possibly give an update as to whether they are feeling any better yet, Thanks

Jane

Wouldn't say I had a bad reaction, but I did have fairly noticeable ones including chills & sweats at night, joint and muscle pain, fatigue, headache. Arm pain was gone after 2-3days, the rest took 2-3 weeks but all is normal (for me) now.

Thanks to Kelly from Texas ( Love this site!) I know I am allergic to an ingredient in the Phizer and the Moderna. So, I had the 1shot Johnson & Johnson more than 2weeks ago. Very mild fever that evening, and extra sleepy the next day. And that was it!

I was super tired the next morning after mine. Had a triple espresso and was then fine by my first work call. So one of the lucky ones.

Research. Research. Research. Wait. Use the search engine DuckDuckGo. Not google. So so many doctors speaking out. Be informed 🙏🏼

I woke at 3am with chills, and felt like I had been kicked in the ribs.I had the jab on a Friday.

Spent Saturday in bed with quite severe symptoms.

Sunday they were gone, but I felt like a limp lettuce.

Spent Saturday on sofa watching telly all day.

Monday, I was back to normal.

I had the first Pfizer jab a few weeks ago. I had a bit of asthma for about ten minutes immediately following the injection. Then I was okay for the rest of the day apart from sudden diarrhoea. My partner got the diarrhoea as well - and we had not eaten the same things at all. Next day I was very fluey and had a fever. I was immensely tired and the symptoms - fever, aches, brain fog continued for about a week. I spent most of the time in bed.

So it was like having the flu and I'm much better now. My partner was better the next day.

A friend of a friend had the AstraZeneca shot and was admitted to hospital with low platelets.

Hello allI’ve noticed 5 days after my Oxford vaccine that my legs have been aching more, heavy and throbbing. Trying to walk more to keep circulation going. I don’t live on medicating for APS but was diagnosed 10 years ago after miscarriages. Should I be concerned after my first vaccine the Oxford to experience the leg tightness and symptoms of throbbed and aching, should I take an aspirin? Thank you

I had the second jab last Thursday (04/01) and had quite a bad time. By 14 hours after the shot, severe uncontrollable shaking chills began, it was hard to catch my breath because of the shaking, frightening. That lasted about 9 hours but was a hellish experience. Along with that and continuing for days, quite severe joint pain (joint in a vise being tightened) with one joint or another being affected. This is intermittent, continues still in my right wrist now. Until Sunday, muscle aches, waves of nausea, wooziness, inability to focus (couldn’t read or watch tv), extreme fatigue, sharp stabbing pains in various spots in my body. The shot site was tender, but on Saturday it ballooned up with swelling going to the center of my chest and a lovely rose color. It’s verrry sore and itchy. Also I’ve completely lost any appetite. I last ate on Thursday. I never realized that to eat, one needs an appetite! While this is a great way to kickstart a diet, haha, it’s very inadvisable for us on blood thinners. I can manage a couple of bites (3) and I’m pushing myself to take in more. Also, a dense and severe migraine until yesterday afternoon. I also had (my typical) microclotting symptoms in the usual places, but those went away within several hours.

As of yesterday (Easter Sunday), I finally felt clear headed. Was better able to walk around. Migraine wound down to a dull roar.

Today (Monday) here is my symptom check: fatigue continues but has moderated, a mere headache. Shoulder/chest extremely sore, still swollen into my chest and down almost to elbow, stiffness in shoulder joint. Wrist is intermittently in vise. Zero desire for food. But I’m on the mend.

I’ve heard some horror stories far worse than mine. But if they ever said we were going to need a booster shot ( the nurse with the needle told me this) I don’t think I could chance putting myself through this again.

So, mully, a question for you, how are you? How is your recovery going, are you progressing well? Most people do not have a bad reaction. Please let me know how you are. Anita in Colorado
