I'm a happy girl (or lucky!)

Got the results from the Epileptologist (I'm collecting quite a few "ologists" on this APS journey) and have the all clear and no new seizures on current meds. It has been 6 months and now cleared to drive again as I have been compliant on Keppra. I'm a bit OCD with meds as it doesn't take much to be out of kilter if not taken 12 hourly. I have to be reviewed every12 months and hopefully will remain well again. The downside is I have put on weight (one of the side effects of Keppra can be weight loss or weight gain-but I scored the Kilos :( Hopefully as the weather cools a bit I can get out to exercise a bit more-I'm just not a fan of walking in 40c+ heat!!

Also got all clear from Cardiologist after U/S of bladder and Renal arteries - I did say that I had no symptoms but I guess he was just wanted to dot i's and cross t's to rule out stenosis and don't have to see him for 6 months.

Now....it appears the Easter Bunny is on the way with all the choc eggs in stores :) Hope you are all keeping well and again thanks to Admins on here for all the resources they make available.

Wonderful news - you have your freedom back, and the fairer weather. My relatives have been sending videos over of rain & storms, they have been so excited!

Except for flash flooding in some areas-the rain is very welcome! Forecast 90% chance of rain today and my garden is looking forward to a drenching!

Great OZ -So happy you are doing better and mobile again . It is really a necessity to be able to get around to Doc's, store's etc. I know for me it is - I don't know what i would do with out my car . One of my hospitals is up state and about 60 mile drive and even longer if i have to go to Concord before Lebanon and my appointment's are calming down in number for now . BUT I was doing mid twenties a month and that included my twice a week INR Blood draws. Hoping things keep getting better for you , things have been hard enough lord knows for you guys . Hugs Buddy .

The exact news that we have been waiting to hear!

My neurologist told be to be exactly on the money with me dosing for anti convulsants. It’s not OCD- it’s proactive and smart!

Great news all around, and I’m so happy you shared with us.

Enjoy those ( Lindt?😊)chocolate eggs! A special spring and hope of renewal for our swiss “Oz-some” chick!

Great to hear your news, it must feel really good to have your wheels back again, really enjoy it, also good to hear that your medication is working so well for you. Perhaps a rain dance for exercise!?? MaryF
