It's an auto immune disease - have you been diagnosed with this? Usually by 2 blood tests 12 weeks apart to verify this. You can be pointed in the right direction if this is the case.

Hi avilio54,

I can see you have been a member on our site since 2017 in April.

Did you get your diagnose then perhaps and have forgotten about it until now when you had a DVT?

We have too thick blood that has to be thinned and therefor you are on Warfarin if you have APS. We all have APS here. If you have got APS you need a Specialist of autoimmun illnesses as this is a rare disease which very few Doctors know about.

Best wishes to you!

Hi, take a look through our charity website, under Hughes Syndrome, otherwise known as Sticky Blood or APS, view the symptoms etc, does it sound like you? Also have you had the tests done? This would be a good starting point. ghic.world/ MaryF
