Hi, I have no problems with flying - I wear full compression stockings, keep moving where ever I can, even sitting I do exercise with legs & feet. Keep hydrated. Before long flights (more than 12 hours) I have extra clexane before flight.

Are you thinking of having a holiday?

I’ve only had a short 3 hr flight and was fine I’m on clopidogrel.

I think if u were going long haul I’d wear stockings and maybe discuss cleaned with dr depending on what meds u are already on and any history of clots etc

I wear full compression stockings and also take Aspirin, however I have to have Fragmin should I fly long haul, which is coming up for me in a few months. MaryF

I'm miserly so I usually buy the cheap seats --- which have no leg room for me (I'm 5'10") So, I always make sure I have a letter from my doctor explaining my medical need for leg room to avoid a clot. That way I can request, and get those few seats which are in the frontmost row of cheap seats. Aisle seats are also good, though with my heighth I have to pay attention so I don't trip the stewards/esses. (Though -- if those airlines would give us all the seat and leg room we need my long legs would not pose a danger to their employees!) 😡

Frosty, a specific problem youre questioning?

No problem with me, usually get a Front Row seat with plenty of leg room & stand up around every 15 min
