I’m not surprised you’re feeling unwell. Why is your INR so low? Are you injecting fragmin?

I get numbness from APS but it can also be from numerous other conditions as well.

Hope you’re being looked after by an APS specialist.

Yes got an appointment tomorrow to discuss another med other than warfarin. Yes having injections and no idea why it dropped from 3 to 1.2 in a week. Got put on 10mg for one night then 7mg for 3 days hope Fully hasn't gone sky high. Getting it checked tomorrow too. Not sure what other drug they can put me on that would help me stop going all over the place

Before you go to your appointment try and write down your symptoms in bullet points, and your medical history the same way, so you don't forget anything on the day and get the most out of your appointment, let us know how it goes. MaryF

I empathise with u I have terrible trouble balancing my INR it can vary from 1.2 to 11.2 with no identifiable reason. I watch what I eat, my meds are always the same & no one understands.

I was told that only Warfarin protects us from clots in both veins and archeries so I must continue with it.

Like u I am very ill when I’m too low. My target is 4 (3.5-4.5). Im much better at 4.

Don’t worry about the dose. I have taken up to 22mg of Warfarin at the same time as 75mg Aspirin and Fragmin injections. That was while in St. Thomas’s London, this summer after having a CT Angiogram- they were beside themselves as my INR was 1.2 it took 8 days to get up into range. They kept me in all that time.

I hope u get answers. But please check if they change u from Warfarin that u will be adequately protected.

Good luck 💋

Sorry to say that sounds really familiar. I too have issues keeping my INR stable but now inject Clexane as soon as it drops below 3.5. My target is 4-4.5 It still takes a couple of days to feel better but at least you know more clots aren’t forming in the meantime.

I also get tingling and numbness on one side of my body and severe migraines. Make sure you get the help you need from an APS specialist but unstable INR is very common with APS but it can be managed well with the right team.

I have exactly that, my specialist says there isn't a lot of evidence for aps and blames a lot on my fibromyalgia which I feel is not the case and is my aps. I suffer so badly, I came out with a deep red massive rash on my.legs when my warfarin was high at 5.8 my range is 2.5-3.5 but better at 3 and anything be low 2 is clexane which I am on at the moment as it dropped. I.dont know what to do for the best I just want to feel better and not like this all the time
