Sometimes being in the sun doesn't help--except to get a nice sunburn. I lived in Oregon for a year. No matter how much time in the sun I would spend, I couldn't get enough vitamin D naturally.

Yes agree and also a lot of us are very sensitive to the sun.

They do say we are better off getting our sun on a cloudy day, as it still gets through the cloud.

I read somewhere that we spwnd 95 % of our time indoors....hence chronic Vit D deficiency.

I'm not sure if I read it correctly but am I right in thinking that if vitamin D levels are very low in someone with APS, that this can then increase their risk of clotting?

Not sure if it means low vit D will increase clots but I read it as APS patients are more prone to have Vit D defiencencies than others without APS.
