Thighs are a bit painful though in my experience (Clexane)

I used to end up doing thighs with each pregnancy as my stomach would get over sore. MaryF

I agree with thigh. Every now and then I'll get a good one in but mostly it buds up going in incorrect and I'm left with a huge bruise for months.

I'm going to try each location to see now it goes 🤞🏻

Is it supposed to be so sore and tender x

If the injection is done successfully, it shouldn't be. It's very important to pinch the skin to avoid injecting muscles. That causes hardness to injection site and intense bruising - also means you haven't had the anticoagulation needed.

I found thigh's better in pregnancy. Harder to hit vessel and less bruising. Less pain too.

I didn't realise I was allowed to inject anywhere other than my tummy x

My heamotologist suggested thighs which I do when belly is heavily bruised. I do feel it's much easier to hit an unpleasant area on thigh and inject into muscle, resulting in heavy bruising.

Have you attempted anywhere else?

How long have you injected for and how often?

I have looked at Utube videos on how to inject without bruising and also taken advice from friends on this page. I seldom get a bruise or lump. I inject 80mg twice daily.

-pinch two inches

-slowly inject needle

-press down slowly for 20 seconds

-remove slowly

-put pressure on injection site for a minute or two

Hope it works for you.
