Positive then negative

Hi been tested for aps 1 test came back positive then the next negitive, I have loads of symptoms, can I still have aps.?

You wrote a post 13 days ago and I now wonder if you have already been diagnosed with two positive tests within 12 weeks by a Hematologist and that now you are doing new bloodtests for Hughes Syndrome and also for Lupus? You joined this site in 2012 I think.

I think we suggested you should look for a Doctor who was specialized in Autoimmun illnesses.

If we have been diagnosed with Hughes Syndrome and have been positive we can the next time we test our blood be negative. There are members that are always negative (sero-negative) but have still been diagnosed by symptoms and background (Hughes Syndrome is found to run in families).

This is why it is exstremely important to have a Doctor who is specialized in Autoimmun illnesses like Sjögrens, Lupus, Hughes Syndrome and even Thyroidea as those illnesses may go hand in hand (be "cousins").

These lovely ladies are right. Have u listened to Prof Hughes utube blog? If not I think u should he explains the answer to ur question.

Also on here he posts a monthly letter - a question from one is answered and a case study shared. There has been a recent one that would perfectly answer and explain ur question/ good to print and take to specialist/gp.

I always give a copy each month to my inr tester. He is very greatful and is learming about APS as part of his CPDs this year.
