Write a letter explaining the awful treatment you have had! I think they will have to take more notice of that, I would also add a copy of some of the information you can get on this site, address it to the practice manager.

Your INR was really high so glad you managed to get it taken in the end

Hello, One have to very careful in a GP practice / Surgery in making any complain. My GP practice has a number of problems including call handling and making appointments. giving out blood test results over the phone. The people who work there do not have any knowledge of what we want. They have a list of questions and give answers to the questions. In our practice I even talked to the manager, you have an appointment to see the nurse and only today is your blood collection. We can cancel this and make another appointment when we get the result!!.

Wait for four to six weeks, I am a proactive person therefore I will keep this appointment, the manager did not like my response.

What I do is when I go to see my GP while I am there I make another GP and nurse appointment, if not required when I get a text message I cancel my appointment. We can have a different system.

Yesterday on my way to the hospital I talked to another person going for blood tests, he said this is easy as he worked in the hospital now retired!
