Why do I have Lupus APS?

Did anyone develop APS after having a joint replacement? I got my hip replaced several years ago and it ended up being recalled. I think that me getting APS has something to do with metals being released into my blood stream.

I think we all wonder why we have it, or in some cases why are relatives have it, and a lot of us are very different, I can't shed any light on your personal angle on it. I hope you are being looked after well by the medical profession. MaryF

APS is an autoimmune disease. I have yet to come across anything in what I've read outside of that "causing" it.
