Should there be a link to the Hughes Foundation on this page?

Trust me I'm a doctor.... 'Sticky blood' & recognising a DVT
Great idea, but you can't always persuade organizations to do this, the charity works pretty hard at building links. MaryF
Good point though LoppyLou - I think the line "sticky blood can be caused by illness, old age, pregnancy and medication while vein damage can result from trauma such as surgery" is quite general to reach laypeople, and I think Thrombosis UK have deliberately kept it simply from terms such as antiphospholipid syndrome but we could ask them to add a link to our charity.
Can you find a contact form or anyone to email on that website? Or even better the Trust Me I'm A Doctor Twitter account - I can tweet for all the world to see that way ...
Thanks,
Kate, HSF
yes Kate I felt a little taken aback by the description myself.
I've tried the BBC website requesting an addition of a useful link.... (easier said than done) and tried a Tweet or two this morning..... boy the Heparin must be working at last could not imagine doing any of this 3 months ago
