I'm 18 years old. I've had migraines for almost 15 years. I've been to the neurologist and have medication.
I've had this stabbing and pressure pain for 2 to 3 days. I don't have a migraine with it. I get the stabbing and pressure pain every 5 to 10 minutes and it lasts up to 2 to 5 seconds.
Hello, please can you tell me if you have a diagnosis of Hughes Syndrome/APS, as this forum is for people with this disease? If you don't have this, which can be diagnosed with blood tests by your GP, there is another forum on this HU platform - National Migraine Centre which is full of members with a variety of migraines etc. MaryF
I Think you shall call your Neurologist about this different pain. Neurologists are not so good at this illness because we have too thick blood and need anticoagulation tio feel well. Neurologists have difficulties to understand that we have so thick blood in our very tiny bloodvessels in the brain.
APS is also very rare and so few doctors know about it. I did have such pain at distinct places in my head for some seconds before I was well anticoagulated. First it helped with a baby-Aspirin when I had my Auras.
