It depends on the assay. These tests are not standardized, there are many different testing kits, each of which define positive (and usually low, medium and high positive) for their test. It is clear, however, that you can have severe disease with low antibody titers, and of course there is also seronegative APS. Any positive should be considered positive
I saw my local Haematologist yesterday and he believes I am negative even though my mother had APS and I also have symptoms. My GP has referred me to see a consultant from the Hughes Syndrome site, I'm seeing him next week. Thank you.
