Hi Everyone. Does anyone get very bad cramp in their joints when your INR is too low? I have an INR of 1.27 at the moment and am experiencing dreadful cramp like pain in all my joints. xxx

Hi there, I do get painful joints.. but not being on Warfarin or similar and only being on Aspirin I can only sympathize rather than compare! However I have heard of this happening with other people...I hope your unsettled INR stops leading you such a merry dance soon, and that you progress further in the right direction! Mary F x

Don't worry Aps! ;D I can sympathise over the steriods as I too have been taking them for a couple of months now. I really hope you start to feel well again soon it can be so miserable at times when all these flares come at once. I've been plodding along slowly during the heat of the summer as I've found it very draining this year.

I am using both Sintrom and Clexane together at the moment to help with the low INR. Unfortunately, I have an allergy to Plaquenil so I'm sticking with Nolotil - Metazmizol for the moment. However, I know what you mean the cramp like pain is really awful. I have had the mother of all headaches too for about 3 days now. I'm having another MRI on Monday to see if I've had another bleed (hope not!!!!). xxx

Hi James. I live in Spain and take a close cousin to Warfarin called Sintrom. If you look at my profile you will see I have a history of Hemorrages - both stomach and into my joints, DVT's and problems with my heart (Aortic Insufficiency), Strokes and TIAs. I have a target INR of 2.5 - 3.5.

Hi Jet! Yes, long time no talk!!!! I've been taking a great big dose of prednisone this summer - 70mg daily!!!! I feel like a beached whale at the moment. Still it has helped with some of the problems I have. I'm going to start swimming soon when I get the ok from my Doc. I'm sure you could teach me a thing or too!!!!! :D xxx
