One of the members suffers from the same symptoms and wanted to see who else has this and if they have found any solutions or alternatives and i think we all have to deal with the medication we take and supporting each other may help.

I have answered yes but my problems might be that I have Menieres disease.

Hi. I was also diagnosed with Menieres disease but am now sure that it is the Hughes syndrome symptoms and is not Menieres. I am on life long warfarin as I had recurrent DVT's. I have only just found out about Hughes as was just told I had 'Sticky blood'!

Better to take the shot than live with risk of another clot. I have already lost left leg & right eye to clots!!!!

Almost all my life when I fly about 3/4 times a year, half the time I get pressure nose/ear when plane is descending, giving me a violent earache. I try barley sugar and swallow often. Often within that week I end up with sinus/earache/cold. I use a natural nasal apray often, having a left d/x sinus polyp, and Sjogrens affecting many parts. Last 2 years I have had problems with my foot collapse at airports, and lately possible DVT and clots on arms and calf, now on Plavix

I used to always have the ear pain. Years ago I bought these plastic EAR PLANES ...little clear plastic ear-plug like things that you wear while flying and I have never had a problem since!!! They last forever and I have my kids use them too!
