Hi I am Susan, I have suffered with HS for years now it comes and goes . Hate it when my skin flared up, I used to think that it was me and that it was dirty, I went completely ott but it also made my mental health worse so it was vicious circle.

Hi, I have HSV for over 40 years and no one has been able to tell me what it was until a couple of years ago, it comes and goes, I find if I am stressed it gets worse, I am so pleased to find this community, I thought I was the only one with this, I'm told it is an autoimmune disease, and is very rare,

Hi! I am Wanda and have been taking Humira for about 8 months. I am so happy about the results, but so disturbed by the side effects! I look forward to joining in on any discussions.

Hi I have been living with HS for 17 years it happened immediately after I gave birth to my first born. It is the most embarrassing condition and extremely painful that you could ever have. I have Hurley stage 4 the most severe antibiotics is all they prescribe me , steroids surgeries etc. My family and I have strived in a different direction to find a cure for this and I will keep you posted. I use Hibiclens wash daily and soak in hot baths with witch hazel. Nothing helps me honestly but I continue to pray it messes with your mind the pain and agony that you endure from this. I try to keep Faith!!

Hi all, I was just wondering how you all cope on a daily basis with this?

I've had a flare up in my groin since second week in December, it starts to flare then after a few days it dies down, then a day or two later it is really painful, then another few days and it's calming down again, total roller coaster.

Unfortunately i do not have a bath anymore but shower every day using Hibiscrub or Dermol, I also relax with warm/damp facecloth on area for 5-10 mins a day; I wear loose clothing and or no underwear(feel rather dodgy when doing so). Is there anything else I should be going?

A friend of a friend, say's she normally sits about at home with just a towel covering her modesty; would you recommend this?

Thank you for your attention and remember and be kind to yourself.

Stay safe, keep well and be strong.
