NAM HIV Community Forum Event in London

Dear HIV Partners,

The National AIDS Manual (NAM) have just announced they will be holding one of their Community forums in August presenting updates from one of the largest HIV conferences the International AIDS Society conference (see below).

These community forums are a great way to keep uo-to-date, they present information in a non technical way that is easy to understand if you do not have a scientific background.

Places are free but limited so don't dally if you want to go you must register.

HIV Community Forum

NAM will be hosting an event in central London to share the information on HIV treatments and prevention that they gather at the 2017 International AIDS Society conference in Paris in July.

IAS 2017 will be the largest open scientific conference on HIV and AIDS related issues.

NAM’s 90-minute HIV Community Forum event will be held at Woburn House Conference Centre in Tavistock Square, London, on Thursday 3rd August between 18:00 and 21:00hrs, with a free hot food buffet and drinks being served before the event.

They are specifically looking to invite people living with, or otherwise directly affected by, HIV. They intend to make the event as accessible and interactive as possible by encouraging response to questions or voting on issues raised by the presenters and panellists through a mobile phone app on the night.

They also intend to film the event so that they can make it available on their website and via YouTube, so that people outside of London, and even outside the UK, can also benefit following the event (audience members will not be filmed without their expressed permission).
