I live in the uk, I drink heavily have a bit of a problem, I'm a chef! Dont help. Docterd say I have a very healthy liver and I'm on a waiting list but have to be ill to get treatment, anyone considered or looked into buying meditation abroad??

yes yes yes get the treatment yourself please do not wait for NHS. The generic meds work providing you source them properly. In fact please go take a look at the fixhepc website. What you find on there is absolutely genuine. Doc Freeman is an amazing human being who has made getting cured possible. The cost is not high compared to the price Big Pharma are charging the NHS.
I am saying all this to you because like you I was told I was not sick enough and could wait, but having had this virus for maybe 30 years, waiting any longer seemed ridiculous. Why would anyone wait until they are so sick even getting treatment may no longer work. I went onto FixhepC website and within a month I had made my decision, Gotten my blood tests along with which genotype I was, gotten my GP to agree to monitor me with regular blood checks (very important to have in place ), had a couple of face to face chats with doctors in Australia and India, gotten my meds and am now HCV undetected. It is amazing!
Please check out the website. There are many people on there that will help you through the process and people who have done it and can reassure you that it is the way to go if you are able to. Generics work I promise you. If you have any questions please ask me and I will either give an answer or point you to someone who can.
