I too was diagnosed with HepC in 1997. I was on interferon and ribavirin for 2 years. I gave myself shots and then 5 pills a day. It was a struggle to stay with the program, but my doctor was my hero and got me through it. I lost my hair and my taste of food, but it all came back and as of today, I am still free of the disease!
