It is known that  β-carotene, vitamin D, linoleic acid, arachidonic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid, docosahexaenoic acid, iron, and zinc have suppressive effects, while retinol, vitamin E, vitamin K, vitamin C, cholesterol, and selenium have promoting effects on HCV proliferation.

Thanks for all the information. Since I have recently been diagnosed with CHC I have been conducting quite a bit of research on my own. I never lived an unhealthy lifestyle and I have followed a very healthy lifestyle since my four children were born at home during the 80s. So right now my focus has been on diet and which foods provide me with the most nutritional support. I see it's a little more complicated than I at first realized.
