I am probably not the first to say this and I'm probably not the last to say this but I was diagnosed about 4 years ago and I put it off didn't say nothing about it then just couple days ago I fainted at work fell off of 20 foot ladder I woke up in the hospital the diagnosis of hepatitis A and C I never thought that's what the doctor would have said when he came into the room I thought those days were over but they don't go away they remain there stay there and don't go away I can't say that I'm embarrassed Maybe a little upset depressed just feel stupid for waiting this long to get help I need anyway I was just like someone to help me out with when I can eat what I can drink what I can and cannot do and just be there for me but I guess we'll see what happens

How's it going? I see no one has replied to your post. Don't feel bad, I waited 9 years before I got treatment. I was afraid of the old treatment they had that caused depression and made people really sick. The new meds they have for hep C are good. I am not sure about hep A. But I do know you can't drink alcohol if you want treatment. I hope you are getting better from your fall. Let me know how you are doing. People do care!

Hate to disagree new meds cured my hcv .but screwed my immune system ,I'm in pain everyday nausea numb toes fingers exhausted ECT felt fine pre treatment not anymore finished tx a yr ago ,good luck,seem ok for some people,time will tell I guess. Annoys me how liver clinic won't admit tx could cause problems ,when it's only been around for few yrs.
